Meet #TeamARMATEQ: International
Portugal - @mackenziecruz.eq
Meet Mackenzie!
Hi my name is Mackenzie, I’m a 19-year-old show jumper from Toronto who splits my time between Canada and Portugal. I compete with my horse Jack Daniels Whiskey in 1.10m national and international classes across Europe. I started riding seven years ago, and somewhere between early mornings at the barn and long show days, it stopped being a hobby and became everything I wanted to do. Whiskey’s all heart — bold, opinionated, and the best kind of challenge. Together we’ve earned multiple top 5 finishes and a championship win. I’m excited to represent #TEAMARMATEQand keep building toward bigger heights, one round at a time.
Portugal - @e.persiiantsev
Meet Eva!
Hi! My name is Eva Persiiantsev, and I’m a Canadian show jumper based in Portugal. I’ve been riding for four years, and my journey has taken me from spending hours working at the barn just to ride once a week… to now owning two incredible horses and competing across Portugal and Spain. I’m endlessly grateful for how far this sport has brought me, and I hope to expand into competing across Europe very soon.
This past season has been one of my biggest yet. I moved up from a gold to a platinum license and represented Canada at the Sunshine Tour, placing 2nd in the 1.15m CSI3*. I also competed in the late summer tour — a two-week 1m CSI2* show — where I proudly represented Canada and earned four 1st-place finishes and one 2nd-place.My two horses mean everything to me: Miss Niki, my newest placing horse, and Halona, my first horse who started it all. I compete mainly in the 1.00m–1.10m divisions with experience up to 1.15m, and I love developing young horses and building strong, trusting partnerships.I’m truly proud to join the ARMATEQ community and represent a brand that aligns so beautifully with my journey, my goals, and my love for this sport.
